Minister's name
Preaches most Sundays, and visits during the week. Has been here eleven years.
About us
We are not a new thing and we are not a big thing. We meet in the same building our grandparents met in, and we are trying to do the same thing they were.
Our story
Eleven people met to pray on a Tuesday evening because the nearest church was four miles away and most of them walked. The building came nine years later, and the hall was added when the Sunday School outgrew the vestry.
Most of what happens here has happened every week for a very long time: we read the Bible together, we sing, we pray, and we eat afterwards. Nothing about that has needed improving.
We are about ninety people now — some who have been here their whole lives, and some who came last month.
Who leads
Preaches most Sundays, and visits during the week. Has been here eleven years.
Youth, students, and the Wednesday prayer meeting.
They share the teaching, the visiting and the decisions.
The building, the money and the practical care.
What we believe
We are an evangelical congregation. We believe the Bible is God's word and that Jesus Christ died and rose again for sinners. We are not interested in being fashionable about that.
If you want the longer version, ask and we will give you a copy — or simply come on a Sunday and listen to what gets preached.
