Sixty years of teaching men and women who go back to the congregations they came from. Fees below cost, and waived for those sent by churches that cannot pay them.

Four programmes.

All four begin in June. The certificate also has a November intake.

Fees are per year and are waived for supported students.

June intake

Applying takes an afternoon.

There is no entrance examination and no application fee. If your written work is not strong yet, say so — that is what the first term is for.

Term dates

The same every year. Applications close six weeks before a term begins.

    Michaelmas term begins

    All four programmes. Residents arrive the day before.
  2. 20 September

    Term ends

    Students return to their congregations for the harvest.
  3. 1 November

    Certificate intake

    Evenings only, and the one most people start with.
  4. 15 December

    The year ends

    The library stays open through the vacation.

Taught by pastors

Every tutor serves a congregation. Nobody here teaches ministry they are not doing.

In your language

The certificate and diploma are taught in Burmese. Only the degree requires English.

Nobody turned away

Fees are below cost and waived entirely for students sent by a church that cannot pay.

Eleven residential students. You will be known by name in the first week.
